Last year’s event blew us away by raising over $85,000.00!! That is total to date of over $225,000.00 that has been raised for The Colin Michael Cronin Foundation in only four years! Since 2019 we have given multiple scholarships each year to graduating student-athletes at North Andover High School. This year at Scholarship Knight we are thrilled to be able to provide 6 – $ 5,000 scholarships. Providing scholarships to NAHS and Colin’s alma mater, Saint Michael’s College is our initial focus, but due to everyone’s generosity, we are able to expand Colin’s legacy to other community non-profit programs listed below:
- Colin volunteered for a couple of summers with friends at Camp Sunshine in Sebago Maine. Camp Sunshine provides retreats for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness We reached out to see what items they might need and The Colin Michael Cronin Foundation provided Camp Sunshine with 6 child and adult sized Stand up Paddleboards, life jackets, and paddles. We couldn’t have done this without the amazing help from Sun Sports and their own donation of paddles.
- Colin volunteered at Service Dog Project, in Ipswich, MA. They breed, train, and donate Great Danes to individuals who experience difficulty with balance or mobility with a preference for veterans and first responders.
- Elevated Thought – located in Lawrence MA supporting the youth of Lawrence to invest in art and mural painting and photography. This organization provides the self-esteem youths need! Truly great people doing great things.
- Support for a variety of local humanitarian needs in Colin’s community.
